Many clients come to us with little idea of how the custom furniture process works. To give you an idea, here are the steps we follow:
STEP ONE: GET IN TOUCH
Book a 15 minute call with master furniture maker Owen Monro to chat through your requirements. You can talk about space, materials and the vision you have in mind.
STEP TWO: SITE VISIT
This is where you have the opportunity to meet Owen and talk further about your custom furniture requirements.
Owen will visit your home or office to talk measurements and go through design options in more detail. At this time, he may request a deposit in order to proceed.
STEP THREE: CONFIRM DESIGNS
Owen or one of his team members will share the final designs with you via email for you to review and sign off on. You can request as many changes as you like to get your custom furniture precisely the way you want it.
STEP FOUR: CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION / DELIVERY
Depending on the nature of your project, construction will take place offsite or Monro Designed will visit your home to begin work.
In general, turnaround on a standard size piece of furniture or cabinetry is around 6-8 weeks.
When we come to your home to install or delivery your custom furniture, you’ll notice we are quick, efficient and tidy.
